Do you love having fun and creating an environment for others to have fun? We're looking for volunteers to host community building activities for shelter guests and supportive housing residents. Community building activities help our guests and residents build relationships for peer support. Hosts ensure a supportive and constructive atmosphere is maintained by the participants and lead guests or residents in the activity. Popular activities include:

  • Games (trivia, bingo, Wheel of Fortune, various board games)
  • Live music (musician, DJ, or karaoke)
  • Arts & crafts projects
  • Book club discussion
  • Comedy (stand up or improv)
  • Field day
